To enjoy music with Walkman phones

- Insert a CD into the PS3™ disc slot.
- Select [Music] from the PS3™ XMB (XrossMediaBar).
- Select [Audio CD] and press the Δ button.
- Select [Import] from the option menu to import music data onto the hard disk drive*.
- * The default codec is [AAC] and the default bit rate is [128 kbps].
- * The PS3™ automatically connects to the internet and obtain CD information when inserting a music CD.
- PS3™ with Memory Stick Slot

- Select the imported music file and press the Δ button.
- Select [Copy] , and then [Memory Stick] as the copy destination.
- The selected music file is copied in the Memory Stick [MUSIC] folder.
- PS3™ without Memory Stick Slot

- Connect PSP™ via a USB cable and select [USB Connection].
- Select the imported music file and press the Δ button.
- Select [Copy], and then [PSP™] as the copy destination.
- The selected music file is copied in the Memory Stick [MUSIC] folder*.
* PSP™ supports playback of content stored in the [MUSIC] folder at the root level of the Memory Stick from system software version 2.80 or later. We recommend you to update to the latest version.
