The following settings may appear when a music CD is first inserted into the drive after software installation.
- CD Drive Check: Click [Start].
- Setup at CD insertion: Remove the checkmark from "Start importing automatically when an audio CD is inserted" (recommended).
- Check the box to enable copyright protection (recommended).
- Check [Yes] to obtain album information (recommended).

In order to display additional information, such as downloaded music jacket photographs on your device compatible with Memory Stick media, it is necessary to set up "SonicStage" as follows before transferring the data to your Memory Stick media.
Place the pointer on "Tools" - "Options". Click [Transfer] - [Memory Stick/Network Walkman/Portable IC audio player] - [Transfer Settings]. Then, click [Advanced] and check [Transfer Additional Information].* [Transfer Additional Information] is checked in the default settings of SonicStage 3.2.
These settings can also be changed later. Select "Settings" from the [Tools] menu then make necessary changes with each item.

These are music discs that are secured form illegal copying in order to protect copyrights. They are generally called by names such as "copy control CD" or "copy protect CD". The method of playback and recording may vary depending on the record label.
For information on music discs with content protection technology, see the music disc package or contact the record label.You can select multiple consecutive music files by pressing the "Shift" key or select multiple files, not necessarily consecutive, by clicking on each one while holding down the "Ctrl" key.
